Growing up my passion for music and faith was intertwined, and it’s through that foundation that I’ve learned to approach life with purpose and a heart full of gratitude. My travels to places like Puerto Rico and California have given me new perspectives and inspiration, both musically and spiritually, helping me grow as an artist and as a person. Whether I’m performing in worship settings or sharing music with new audiences, my goal is always to connect on a deeper level, bringing people together through the power of sound and shared experiences. Life’s adventures—whether they’re on the road, in nature, or through the music I create—remind me of the beauty in every journey. My journey as a bassist has been a story of grassroots beginnings, fueled by passion, faith, and a relentless drive to grow. From the very start, my path wasn’t paved in gold—it was built from hard work, dedication, and a deep connection to my faith. I began playing music in small, humble setting, at Grassroots Revival in Bend Or, where I felt the power of music to bring people together and inspire hearts. It was there that I truly experienced the intersection of faith and artistry, learning that music wasn’t just something I played—it was something I lived.
Today, I’m privileged to serve as a bassist at Red Rocks Church in Austin, where I continue to grow in my craft, leaning into God’s guidance as I step into new musical realms. I’ve immersed myself in deep study, particularly through Scott’s Bass Lessons, where I’ve honed my technique, theory, and overall musicianship. Every lesson, every practice session, is another step toward my goal: to be the best bassist I can be, always striving for excellence, but never forgetting that God is at the frontlines of my journey.
Each chapter of my story—from the church pews to the stage—has been a testament to the belief that with God leading the way, we are capable of achieving great things. As I continue my musical journey, I remain grounded in faith, focused on growth, and driven to inspire others through the music I create and the stories I share. This is just the beginning, and I’m excited to see where He leads me next.
